Gentlemen,
I paid FOSTERIDEAZ , a web designer in Noida, India, $300 to develop a sample home page for my blog – www.garnerblog.com/ . They caused me a great deal of distress and could have lost it.
Chronology:
- Analytics showed traffic to my blog went dead around may l7, 2010. Going to it brought a message of a fatal error. The password was changed. These without provocation. I called fosterideaz 21 times and left messages and sent emails. No reply. Around may 24 they answered [probably by mistake] and said they’d call the next day. Never did. Was my blog gone for good? . What could be worse. It was the product of years of development and expense .

Through emails to a ‘source’ I was able to have my blog restored. Miracle.
My password still didn’t work. Then calls and emails with the source to finally get a password and make a copy of the blog.
I seek compensation for
- My blog being off the net 10 days.
- Losing temporary and perhaps some permanent visitors to my blog.
- FOSTERIDEAZ changing my password.
- Their unconscionable ignoring me.
- 10 days of work and anguish to get my blog restored, only by luck.
- The fact the blog could have been lost!
Would you be interested in handling this case? How much would it cost? What would be involved?
Thanks,
Al garner garner@comline.com

I bought a movie for x-mas this past year. I have recently realized they have been charging me the same $9.95 i paid for the movie every month since. Looking online I found that whatever your purchase price is, they use that amount as a "monthly subscription" to thier service, example: someone else was charged $17.53 for thier purchase so thier subscription was for $17.53/mo. No where during checkout did it say the purchase was for "monthly subscription" only for the movie I purchased.

The Ladders

The Ladders auto-renewed a charge on my credit card monthly without proper notification. They only stopped when I realized several months later that they were charging me $30 every month. The pricing on their web page is clearly deceptive; you choose a 1 month membership but in small print it does say they will auto-renew. Although this may be legal, it is certainly deceptive. There is no other communication from the company reminding you that you are being billed, no statement or anything. It’s up to you to discover charges on your credit card and cancel with them. Their customer service person confirmed that I was not the only one who was misled but says they will not do any type of refund and no other compensation was offered. Basically, they charge you perpetually until you notify them. In my case it was 8 months but I could easily imagine there are people who may not notice for years. The Ladders

Sup World Fit

I was just checking my bank statement & found a $24.13 charge for SuoWorldFit phone #866-407-5570. When I tried calling this # I received a recording # cannot be reach from my area. I just filed a report on Premium White (teeth whitener) for charging me $86 something for a free sample & the bank refunded my money so I’m thinking this has do do with them. I will file a complaint with my bank & consumer protection on this scam.

cleanwhites was recommended on line as a great way to whiten teeth….they offered a free sample to try. The scam is they send you a second unauthorized whitener and bill your credit card for $83.90. They also state your credit card will only be used for shipping and handling. I called and canceled any further orders, and they assured me any further orders would be canceled. They do have my credit card info and cannot be trusted.
